Team Lead (internal vacancy only)

Effort: 1 day per week (beside your current role)

What You'll Do

As a Team Lead you will lead and manage a team sized between 3 to 8 team members. This role will be in addition to your current team role. It is expected that you will use 8 hours per week for the lead role, and 32 hours per week in your existing role. 

The Team Lead plays a key role in the personal developments of the employee, meaning you will serve as the point of contact for your team members. This includes review of schedules, utilization, project assignment, holidays; identify and work toward goals & targets; to communicatie company goals, safety practices, team planning; manage annual performance assessments; and support recruiting, hiring and training processes.


You will:

  • Manage a cross functional team by providing standard tools, process and methodology.
  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort.
  • Provide the team with a vision on the project objectives. 
  • Motivate and inspire team members.
  • Lead by example.
  • Use a servant leadership style whenever possible.
  • Performing appraisals and mid-year reviews with your team members.
  • Hold weekly 1:1 and team meetings with your team members.
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
  • Remove blockers or guide team to remove blockers by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
  • Represent the team interests towards relevant stakeholders.

  

What You Need to Be Successful (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring people, and/or getting the best out of people is an advantage. 
  • Willingness to learn (from leaders within TI) and be trained on the job.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Team player and used to work in an international environment.
  • Should have pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Experience within a leadership role in TI is a plus.
  • Able to attend leadership trainings.
  • Exhibited personal and professional growth within TI.
