Innovation Program Manager

We are looking for the right person to formalize and lead Innovation in our organization. The Innovation Program will drive this focus within the organization to deliver tangible innovation results.

We are now looking for the right person to formalize and lead this program. The Innovation Program will drive this focus within the organization to deliver tangible innovation results. The Program Manager will define how to measure the ability to positively impact customer experience as they interact with our products and our organization as a whole.

The Innovation Program Manager is the responsible person for developing and managing the innovation program. They will align the program plan to match the strategic goals of the organization and manage that plan. The Program Manager interacts with each individual activity owner to provide support and guidance on the individual projects as well as to convey the important relationship of each project to the bigger picture, including the larger program and organizational objectives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation of the innovation program
  • Expected to manage the program utilizing established Innovation management best practices and standards
  • Responsible for creating guidelines and structure for innovation program as well as metrics for its success
  • Drive organizational consistency, superior product quality, and process standardization
  • Key point of contact for Disruptive Innovation involving product features and new product categories
  • Integrate technological knowledge and business relevance to ensure creation of viable new opportunities
  • Identify areas for internal process improvement
  • Report project achievements and status to the Executive Steering Committee (ESC)
  • Develop and present proposals, updates, issues and findings to senior management inclusive of suggestions, risk mitigation, cost benefit analysis and action plans.
  • Elevate issues to the Executive Steering Committee (ESC)
  • Serve as a project spokesperson responsible for communicating project strategy, benefits, direction, status, and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relations with project teams, business sponsors and stakeholders.
  • Approve final project deliverables
  • Approve risk mitigation strategy and action
  • Develop complete project design and execution documents along with task-level project plans to arrange cross-function teams
  • Manage and supervise innovation program initiatives inclusive of projects supporting customer innovation, research & development, and products and services
  • Create and implement new processes and ideas to improve productivity and performance
  • Ensure decisions are consistent with To-Increase’s ethical principles

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or similar education preferred
  • Minimum of 5+ years relevant business project/program management experience

  • Experience with techniques and tools for innovation management
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects and/or programs
  • Ability to work and lead efficiently with remote team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working at all levels within a company
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Analytical skills with ability to see systems and patterns and organize ideas
  • Familiarity with appropriate software tools to produce high quality documents, products and services
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling in English
  • Understanding and ability to work with Project Management principles and methodologies
  • Strong Performance Management skills
  • Able to work autonomously
