America’s Channel Manager/Director
We are growing and looking for an America’s Channel Manager/Director to join our Sales team in the US.
This is a newly formed role where you will lead programs and plans across channel partners to seize the plethora of growth opportunities of working with Microsoft and Channel Partners.
You have the opportunity in revising our processes and role utilizations and define the ways of working across all our teams, to grow Microsoft Co-Sales and Channel Partner influenced business.
In this role you will be reporting directly to the America’s Team Lead, but work in global cross functional matrix.
What We Expect from You
- Develop and Manage our America’s channel ecosystem internally and externally to drive expansion and scale.
- Be responsible for maintaining Partner Program and Partner engagement model.
- Drive business development plans and participate cross functional initiatives, e.g. eCommerce enabled partner engagement.
- Build critical relationships with key alliance stakeholders.
- Utilize alliance organizations to create joint success, win net new business and create customer success.
What You Need to Be Successful (Minimum Qualifications):
- 5 to 10 years of experience working within Channel Sales environments and revenue generating role, most preferably System Integrator(s) in Dynamics Bus Apps space.
- This is a quote-carrying role.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Microsoft sales organization in North America.
- Existing relationships that can be cultivated and leveraged for To-Increase.
- Knowledge of industry sales approach within Microsoft and ecosystem and vision on how to build impactful alliance practices.
- Consistent performance against quota.
- Creativity and outside of the box thinking in tactical planning, deal shaping and business development.
- Strong communication skills at both tactical and operational level.
- Ability to represent To-Increase at strategic level.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Ability to travel internationally. Estimated 25%-50% when normal business returns.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience within Microsoft in a commercial role.
- Experience selling, delivering to manufacturing and ancillary industry.
- Knowledge about the Microsoft Business Applications solution stack.
- Existing relations that can be leveraged within Microsoft Field sales and Services
Solution- and sufficiently tech savvy to be able to engage in deeper functional conversations with solutioning and architect roles in alliance organizations.
