Sales Leader - Regional Head (North America)

We are growing rapidly and looking for a new Sales Leader - Regional Head to lead our strategy in North America from the front.

What You'll Do

Become our new leader and ambassador in North America and get a unique opportunity to step on our growth train and build a winning business, capturing opportunity for your team and yourself. Our ideal new sales leader is a high energy, entrepreneurial and hands-on sales leader, that can catalyze sales performance in your team as well as close deals individually. You will help set and drive the overall direction and activities in North America, in close collaboration with the executive team.

You’ll be responsible for executing our business plan for the region, which constitutes a growth strategy, whereby we believe we can help many more customers with our relevant value propositions, and in that growing our sales force and GTM partnerships. You will first and foremost serve as a sales leader, though also as regional head and virtual leader in our global matrix organization.

You will

  • Coach, inspire and motivate your team and lead from the front.
  • Participate business planning and oversee execution by tracking against targets and activities.
  • Make sure we follow plans, thus paving the way for local growth in business and team, which you’re responsible for recruiting and onboarding to success.
  • Develop relations to key partners and customers, thereby being a trusted advisor for achieving optimal client satisfaction and endorsement.
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements to attain targets
  • Prepare monthly sales performance reviews and sales forecast, which you use first and foremost to coach improvement and help team be successful.
  • Maintain open and trust environment in team in support of our People first strategy.
  • Develop and maintain opportunity plans, individually and in team, which includes sales engagement on marketing qualified leads, creative named account penetration, white space analysis and current customer up-sales.
  • Develop and execute business plans and demand generation activities.
  • Build a sustainable and robust pipeline and ensure CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and account planning.
  • Support and leverage internal partnership with domain driven marketing.
  • Create compelling proposals grounded in business impacts with clear reasons to act.
  • Negotiate terms and contracts with successful close.
  • Travel (inter)nationally max 10-20%.

What You Need to Be Successful (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 5-10 years of experience in new logo ERP sales role, consistently achieving/exceeding individual quota.
  • More than 5 years of sales leadership experience.
  • Entrepreneurial and capable of ownership of building a business and team.
  • Passionate to work for a scale-up company, where a part of time will be used for misc. process design and implementation.
  • Ability to motivate team and balance with individual responsibilities to meet and exceed KPIs and objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills with proven and effective leadership.
  • Experience managing and looking after the metrics.
  • Process and detail oriented.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).

Other Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling Microsoft Dynamics and knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem is a big plus, but we certainly welcome experiences from comparable avenues.
  • Certifications and / or deep experience in business value sales methodologies, e.g. Challenger, Sandler, Solution Selling and also Microsoft Catalyst methodology.
