Role Description – Technical Solution Architect

As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will

We are looking for an innovative Technical Solution Architect to design and develop system architecture that will meet the business needs of our customers. Your responsibilities include: 

  • Have responsibility for the overall solution architecture, aligning the work performed in all technical domains. 
  • Gathering requirements and functional specifications or review and provide feedback for functional specifications. 
  • Assess the current software development & design in order to identify areas in need of improvement.  
  • Active communication with stakeholders on the progress of projects within your portfolio. 
  • Successfully transform specifications and requirements into the business architecture. We must have an excellent communicator who is able to translate complex requirements into functional & technical architecture. 
  • Have responsibility for the quality of process documentation, the quality solution functional designs and the non-functional requirements. (Performance, security, usability) 
  • Manage code review and feedback process that not only ensures technical quality, but also has a focus on the development plans of the individual team members.  


 Technical Solution Architect Responsibilities

  • Help to continue the growth of a high performing technical community. 
  • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed. 
  • Building and integrating information systems to meet the business needs of our customers. 
  • Set standards on development methodologies, best practices and procedures and ensure these are followed throughout the company. 
  • Providing guidance and advice to development teams. 
  • Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, budgets and QA aspects. 
  • Assessing the business impact of technical choices. 
  • overall solution architecture, for your development teams. quality of process documentation quality audit on functional designs provide guidance for the non-functional requirements (Performance, security, usability) 
  • Review and approve the quality and completeness of functional requirements   
  • Create the technical solution design document.  Verify and approve the quality and completeness of functional design documents responsibility for the quality of automated test cases advise for solution direction for any custom development review of task level estimates 
  • Ensure development team members across organization are informed and trained on the finding published by Microsoft and other relevant platforms and communities. 
  • Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates. 


Technical Solution Architect Requirements & Experience

More than 12 years of IT experience with 3+ years in Cloud Technologies and

  • Should have experience in public and private cloud platforms
  • Should have experience working with application migrations and management of applications on SaaS as well as PaaS
  • Must have experience in application modernization engagements – particularly moving to microservices and containers
  • Must have experience in doing cloud readiness assessments, technology stack consolidation and should be able to create business cases to take full advantage of cloud platforms
  • Should have experience designing and building MS Dynamics solutions and other Microsoft technologies
  • Should be able to put in best practices related to cloud native applications and app modernization
  • Should have experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and etc.


The candidate should have good understanding on the following areas:

  • 1.Application Architecture - understands the layout of an application deployment and design, including middleware options, protocols, API gateways and platform infrastructures.
  • 2.Automation and Orchestration - streamlining repeatable processes and automating the execution of a complex process: knowledge of scripting, programming or API interaction.
  • 3.Enterprise Integration - understand the processes and architecture for integrating disparate services as well as the specific effects on data, identity, infrastructure, API/service and provider integration.
  • 4.DevOps - End to end knowledge of build automation, deployment automation, test automation, SDLC orchestration, environment management, monitoring, and production release procedures
  • 5.Security - Understanding technical security that protects the organization’s assets: knowledge of and experience with security policies, network security, data security and security event management to adopt cloud security services
